My name is Jason Morrow, and I develop software. I have a B.S. in Mathematics from University of Pittsburgh and a M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Tufts University. At Tufts, I studied mostly digital image processing and machine learning. The goal of my research project was to automatically interpret microscope images of human muscle tissue. This project relied on Support Vector Machines, Random Forest Classifiers, binary morphology, and Matlab.
When I graduated from Mount Saint Charles Academy, I received the mathematics department's senior award. Between semesters at the University of Pittsburgh, I participated in Texas A&M University's pre-REU program and Schneider Electric's internship program. I left Pittsburgh with the mathematics department's Culver Award and John O. Blumberg Memorial Scholarship. My research project from Tufts is at last complete, and I am now learning new skills such as SQL while exploring career opportunities.
My hobbies include karate, board games, and hiking. I have taken photos of wildlife in Bonaire, Costa Rica, Iceland, South Africa, Australia, and here in the United States.
